Support

NASTY is a free board game. There is very little to manage, so most "support" is just a quick question. Email blake.pangman@gmail.com and you'll hear back directly.

Accounts and signing in

• Do I have to sign in? No. Signing in is completely optional and the whole game works without it - playing on your own, passing one phone around, and playing online with other people. Nothing is locked behind an account.
• What does signing in actually do? It ties your leaderboard row to you instead of to whoever types the same name. Sign in on a new phone and your record comes with you. That is the only thing it changes.
• How do I sign in? In the iPhone app, tap ADMIN in the top corner of the game screen, then Sign in with Apple. There is no password, and there never will be. Signing in on the website is not available yet.
• Do I need an account to be on the leaderboard? Yes, as of 26 July 2026. Games played without signing in are no longer added to the shared leaderboard. Older rows are kept and stay visible as history. You can still play absolutely everything without an account.
• How do I delete my account? Same ADMIN button, then Delete account. You are asked to confirm once. It removes your Apple sign-in and your sessions right away; your leaderboard row stays as history unless you ask for that to go too, which the same screen offers. Full detail is on the privacy page. You can also just email the address above and ask.

Common questions

• My game disappeared / the app restarted. Reopen it - offline games auto-save and offer a "Resume your game" button on the main menu. Online games are saved on the server too, so reopening the same invite link (or just reopening the app) reconnects you to the same table.
• Online play isn't connecting. Online games need the host's game server to be reachable. This is a small server run by one person, not a big company's cloud - if it's briefly offline (power blip, restart), just try again in a minute.
• How do the rules work? Tap "How to play" on the main menu any time - the full card-by-card rundown is right there.
• I found a bug or have an idea. Email the address above - feedback from the everyone is exactly how this app gets better.
